For over 25 years, Emma has helped brands turn ambition into measurable commercial growth, working across global giants, challenger brands, e-commerce and founder-led businesses including Procter & Gamble and giffgaff. As Chief Marketing Officer at giffgaff, she owned a £40 million budget and delivered 25% growth in the member base within 12 months, doubling brand awareness in just 9 months as the brand scaled to challenge EE, Three, Vodafone and Tesco Mobile.

At sofa.com, Emma was recruited post-acquisition to bring commercial rigour and consumer insight to a founder-built business, replacing instinct with evidence in every major brand and product decision. Earlier in her career, she spent 12 years at Procter & Gamble, where she built the UK's first dedicated digital marketing function, and later scaled Brand Learning's digital consulting practice to 10% of company revenue within 18 months, advising AkzoNobel, GSK, Aviva, AstraZeneca and Starbucks.

Emma now works as a Non-Executive Director, board adviser and executive coach, currently serving as co-founder and NED of IVO Media, a self-serve adtech platform for digital publishers. She has lived both sides of the challenges she now helps organisations navigate: at giffgaff, turning market foresight into a plan executed at pace inside a fiercely price-sensitive category, and at sofa.com, replacing founder instinct with evidence-led decisions for a business under new private equity ownership.
