Alex Wieynk

Strategy Assistant

Having studied Business Management and French at university, Alex has developed a strong interest in international trade, cross-border business development, and the ways organisations expand and operate across global markets. He is particularly interested in the intersection of business strategy, international commerce, and emerging technologies, with growing interests in consulting, agri-tech, and AI-driven business automation.

Alex has gained practical experience through roles at the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce and the British Embassy in Paris. In these positions, he supported UK businesses seeking to develop and expand their activities in France, contributing to market research, commercial engagement, and business development initiatives. Working closely with companies, government representatives, and industry stakeholders provided valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities associated with international trade and market expansion.

His academic studies and professional experiences have strengthened his understanding of international business environments while developing strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Having studied and worked in multicultural settings, Alex has built a global perspective and an appreciation for the importance of effective cross-cultural collaboration in achieving commercial objectives.

Alongside his academic and professional pursuits, Alex is an active tennis and cricket player. These interests have reinforced the values of teamwork, discipline, resilience, and continuous improvement that he brings to both academic and professional environments.

Alex is motivated by opportunities to solve complex business challenges, explore innovative technologies, and contribute to organisations operating in an increasingly interconnected global economy.
